Would absolutely not recommend working here. Incredibly low pay, poor culture, no clear path for promotions. Typically only hire externally. No clear expectations, constantly live with the fear of getting randomly fired. Not the best product either, incredibly expensive compared to other common competitors.

Even though making quota, pay has significantly decreased year over year. Commission percentage is lowered yearly, quota increases, and base salary remains the same. Recognized with awards rather than compensation, and overtime is an expectation. Time off is discouraged by company culture.

Filevine is a bipolar company. The product is great, leadership from top down is lacking. They are two-faced in many instances. You are a number at Filevine. If you sell, all is well. So far experience has been really good, from the looks of it OTE attainment has to be greater than 75%, very attainable goal more of a you get what you put in situation. Great management team. Only true complain is very low base, and not the greatest perks: No gym stipend, commuter stipends, stocks etc.

My overall experience was negative. The CEO joins meeting to berate teams for not selling more even though the company as a whole is hitting quota every month. Teams are "advised" not to take time off during certain time which is now pretty much any time. You can make some money but it is a toxic Culture that will slowly suck the life out of you.

Filevine is a company that makes an exceptional product. But the culture is toxic and the leadership is poor. The company exists to serve their investors and they cut costs and take advantage of both employees and customers in order to make their investors happy. If you have ever read the book Good to Great, they violate a principle every single chapter in that book.

FV is losing AE and AM's quickly. Lots of SDR's that have been around for a while are looking else where. Events are key for SDR's they only send the same 3-4 SDRs to 3+ events a month while the other reps get very little opputunites. The only way to consistently hit your number is events and you cant get events without hitting your number its a catch 22

Everything is always changing. The entire time I've been here, it's been for the worse. Sales management is pretty good, butter upper management and C-suite is clueless and seems to act on a whim, with ZERO transparency to the troops

Great product but senior leadership runs the org like a law firm which is insainly cutthroat and intense. (picture being an associate to Luis Lit on Suits and that is how you will feel as an AE) You can make some good money here as the product is superior to the competition, but there are not many AEs on the floor that have good mental health.

Overall, the company is ran by emotional leaders who make decisions based on how they feel at any given moment. The company tells you everyday how you need to be “grateful” yet there isn’t even stock options for people who’ve been with the company for 1-2 years. They doubled quotas and lowered the commissions & even shortened book sizes.

Biggest downside is sales team takes on 100% of support, billing issues, collections, retention etc which is a lot of the job. Software is down every other week. Very strict on being in office 5 days a week. Product potential is HUGE if they can keep it working.
