Back to ReviewsCurrent Employee Leadership has changed at the most senior levels twice in the last two years, the messaging and market alignment struggles. The platform is bullet proof but the adoption rate is low. It is very complex of a sale. It takes 1.5 to 2 years minimum to land a new logo and that is all reps are paid on right now. Renewals were sent to a new team and they have a ceiling on pay. Partners don't send deals and are looking for you to introduce them to accounts you find direct. Then Appian Services is recommended to provide delivery on the first project (which competes with the partner's interests to offer delivery services) and creates conflict between partner delivery and Appian delivery services. There have been multiple lay offs (one at end of year and another at mid year for the last two years in a row). Looking at their financials and quarterly public investor report would be wise to do before applying here. Also, the leadership is highly tech savvy but they don't know sales. Last year was their first year to offer a President's Club and Vacation since they started the company 20 years ago. Browse Other Reviews
