There are pros & cons working here in the UK. It could be absolutely right for you depending on preferences or it could be your worst nightmare. Pay close attention to the following and see if it’s your tea. If you’re in sales to make money, don’t join. You get paid on the customer adopting, which you will have to project manage yourself due to there always being complexities and your commission is at stake. With a poorly performing product in the UK , best case scenario is you won’t get your OTE because the customers won’t simply adopt. Nobody’s hit their OTE in almost 4 years in the UK. Morale is appallingly low (commission issues, almost zero inbound, inexperienced managers) but people stick it out because the job security is decent. If you want a safe spot by doing the basics, you will work with some great people and learn lots about the mid market while adding terrifically to your CV. But it’s not a place for high spirited morale, target achievement nor commission, so think about what really matters and this could be the place for you! Or not.
