We never hit OTE. Base is relatively low comparatively. Structure of OTE compensation is not based on individual contributions, but based off AE attainment.

Management is incentivized to do whatever it takes to make their number. While management strives to achieve its goals, often it will directly affect the customer at the time of renewal unfairly. In contrast, successful managers are rewarded with pay increases, recognition, and promotions, while sales staff may be let go and blamed for poor customer satisfaction.

Be very wary of the Large Enterprise segment of Smartsheet, both Key and Strategic. The culture is no where near where it used to be and it comes from the 3rd and 2nd line leadership. Reps are looking to leave. I would certainly be cautious coming here.
