UserTesting was a great company until merging with UserZoom. The new comp plans are terrible. Leadership is clueless ever since they lost Bruce, David, Andy, etc. Still have friends left there and they are all miserable and eager to find new roles

Great product-market-fit, compensation, and people. Culture took a dip after the merger, core values changed. For a while, there were too many employees, account teams were unnecessarily crowded. A revolving door of leadership, initiative, and convictions made it feel like UT lost their way a bit, but there's still tons of good people in the organization.

Since the merger the culture is dead. Targets were too high, management was uninspiring and just want results but not willing to hear about challenges of product/pricing. Avoid if I were you!

Wasn't a great experience. Company got bought by Private Equity after a failed IPO and they cleaned us at least 5 times with rounds of layoffs. Merged with their biggest competitor.

The business had not adjusted their compensation package from their high growth period per acquisition by Thoma Bravo. Globals Account Teams where expected to sell 25% growth and only paid on growth but expected to manage the renewal. As a leader our hands where tied. I come from our industry and worked in the organization for a year before taking a career pivot into Sales. I find there are a lot of competencies were lacking strength that should be tablestakes at an organization that's been in operation and previously public for over 16 years.

The new sales SVP that came over from UserZoom is brining a bad sales culture that is built around submission and consistent white lies. A very big departure from the old UT sales cultures. My experience was good until the company was acquired by a private equity firm early 2023, and then merged with our largest competitor. Our account teams were constantly changed and management reduced the number of customers we could work with, drastically impacting ability to achieve quotas.

Targets have been not adjusted to new economic environment or market situation. Leadership did not support AEs but rather ducked their heads and requested to work more or harder instead of offering valuable advice. GTM strategy was completely off for the environment
