A really fascinating company and SLT for all the wrong reasons. The most important thing that matters is EBIDTA even over the people that work there. In Q4 they cut 80+ individuals across the support team to free up cash to boost the end of the year EBIDTA score. Terrible company. Literally lie about comp structures and when they got exposed of the lie we were told to deal with it. Nothing but negativity from ECI even when we're doing well. They literally try to see how terribly they can treat their employees. Stay away from this company.

ECI is a great company and consistently voted as a best place to work. The work culture is excellent with great leadership. The pay and benefits are great and there are always additional incentives sprinkled in throughout the year.

As a BDR we moved to an SQL model to get paid out. Nothing gets moved to SQL unless they are going to sign. OTE does not match deal size.

The sales organization as a whole is in a downward spiral. There are serious challenges ahead for the entire org and I would stay away. Unless you are an Account Executive the pay is horrendous, the comp plan is even worse, and no one is hitting quota. I would be extremely cautious.

Overall experience was good. Leadership and pay are likely the top two reasons employees leave. Great place to gain more experience with a complex suite of products and complex sale. Once you've hit your full potential, you'll likely start looking or become complacent as the career advancement opportunity is not great.

My overall experience was subpar. This business is about EBITDA worship. The customer experience has been completely de-prioritized. Losing multiple references a year and tons of churn was normal

Great company culture and mgmt. Product has great market fit, but development has not kept up with adding new features to stay ahead while the competition has. Need more investment in modernizing the product and actually delivering on promised new features.

ECI has fundamentally changed the way that the aftermarket organization is compensated for the worse. There have been significant declines teams performances, continually increasing quotas at unrealistic percentages, and extremely low moral. Hopefully things change, but as of now I would stay away.
