How you feel about salesforce mostly boils down to what division and team you end up on. I sold for Core and was promoted in the short time I was there around when they laid off 10k people. Morale was low because most were not hitting quota when I left. They had reduced the position to cover very few accounts.

My overall experience at Salesforce has been good because I learned a lot about the industry and was able to watch some of the best sellers in tech. However, it’s extremely hard to get promoted and the quotas are outrageous.

My overall experience was okay - learned a lot in the beginning but after the layoffs begun, every team was down to 1-2 reps and it became difficult to leverage resources when the company cut ties with some of the tools we were using for prospecting.
