Good market fit and opportunity to earn a lot of money. Refined and well structured sales strategies, with plenty of leads. Slow process for promotions and a lot of internal red tape which impacts deal velocity.

It was honestly a great place to work. I'm very proud of my time at Microsoft. The biggest problem with the company is that there is an overall lack of organization, which causes too much overlap in the different divisions--I think this is a large part of the reason why we had so many layoffs--many positions were essentially duplicated, etc. Also, much of the...Read More

Everything is amazing but nobody is happy. Spend some time at Microsoft and you'll realize it's an org. that is built to maintain senior leadership's stock value. Almost all managers I dealt with were just paranoid about protecting their equity.

Microsoft is an awesome place to work at. However in the last year or so they have been pushing a lot to get the quota, the pressure is in the air.
