It's a very tough place to be in the sales org. Zero top of funnel lead gen/demand marketing. Internally the businesses are all very silo'd and makes things hard to understand who is a client, who looks after the clients...what the rules of engagement are. You're essentially on an island and left to "figure it out" maybe you do...maybe you don't.
