Back to ReviewsFormer Employee It was honestly a great place to work. I'm very proud of my time at Microsoft. The biggest problem with the company is that there is an overall lack of organization, which causes too much overlap in the different divisions--I think this is a large part of the reason why we had so many layoffs--many positions were essentially duplicated, etc. Also, much of the employee training wasn't very focused. Most people were training for the job while doing the job, which can cause some issues. BUT, the managers/coworkers were always there to help if needed.
