Excellent company to work for, but if you start and work your way up expect not to see commensurate bumps to salary. If my base had been more in line with competitors, I’d definitely be staying longer. Those who come in from the outside tend to see a premium. Lots of boomerangs who leave and come back to get a higher salary - not ideal, but it’s the situation many people find themselves in.

Midsize BD Global Technology Sales in Dallas/Fort Meyers- word to the wise pray you get a good territory & plan on making it around halfway to quota. Also, kiss your managers butt and worship the ground they walk on. Spray & pray outbound to a list of 400 accounts where maybe 20-50 actually need and could purchase- do or die closing as many as you can.

Fierce competition amongst employees. Sales have a weak position within the org. You are expected to deliver - not to change or influence the org. Customer doesn't have a voice.
