Interviewing for SDR role at Datadog, cleared the first round and got invited to round 2 called Sales Challenge. Just wondering what will they do in this 60 min long call, not an AE that I need to do discovery etc.., will this be around cold calling and objections?

What is the performance of the Strategic segment like? Is clearing 7-figs realistic?

Been tracking Datadog for a while and waiting for their quota attainment number to get better but it's still very low, despite the decent score and some of the rankings being ok. Seems people somewhat like the environment but not many folks hit. Are quotas too high or is there something else?

Customer Success question - do you own renewals? how does comp align to renewals or other metrics, expansion, CSAT etc? How challenging is churn right now?

What does the onboarding and training process look like at Datadog for new sales team members? Did you feel adequately prepared for your role?

What is the mid-market opportunity like at Datadog? I've talked to a few reps and it seems extremely hit or miss based on what accounts you get. Are reps generally seeing success? Also is the base / commission split on here accurate?

I may be starting as the first Commercial AE in a completely new market for Datadog where the enterprise team is also fairly new. I've been reading reviews where very very few Commercial AEs in Datadog hit their quotas. Would being the first commercial AE make it easier for me to hit quota?

What is the usual career advancement trajectory for sales professionals within the sales organization at Datadog?

What percent of SDR interns get hired back as full-time SDR's? Do they have to go through the interview process again?

What is the opportunity on the new Key Accounts segment? i.e. hunting for remaining F100 accounts that DataDog has not landed yet.

I am interviewing for a CAE position, reading through this Q&A, and seeing that less than 10% of CAEs are hitting quota. Are people getting a PIP left and right? Or does management realize that no one is hitting and give people more time before a PIP comes?

Hearing the CAE role is mostly outbound, is it worth coming to Datadog for the AE title as a top-performing BDR at a more prominent company?

How does DataDog compares to new players like Grafana / Chronosphere / HoneyComb?

Is it true DataDog is losing heavily to the competition in the last year? Curious which geos are the most affected.
