Yes, essentially a role play discovery call. Looking for you to be able to manage meeting mechanics, opening, agenda, ask the client if there's anything specific they were hoping to take away from the call, provide a quick pitch on why you are all on the call and dive into discovery. Try to make sure you go beyond first level questions. When you ask a question and get a response, acknowledge and look to dive deeper into 2nd/3rd level questions focused on finding the pain and if possible quantifying the impact of the pain. The goal is obviously to try and find pain and tie it back to Datadog value props so you can  set a follow up deeper dive overview/demo meeting.

I interviewed a little over a year ago, so things may have changed.

For me, it was essentially a mock discovery call. The hiring manager and the VP of Sales acted as prospects, and I conducted discovery on them.

Depends on the segment you are applying to: 
- Commercial > Discovery call

- Mid-Market > Build an account penetration plan, mock discovery call, present a deck on a notable deal you've closed that outlines MEDDICC etc.

- Enterprise- Mock Discovery with a business case presentation lumped into one 30 minute call. You will essentially start with discovery, learn about their challenges, the impact, why do anything, timeline and then present a few slides on why Datadog for their use-case

- not sure about Majors or Key Accounts
