ZoomInfo is a great place to work because of the product market fit being #1, quantity of inbound leads, and solid leadership/training programs. Since you only get paid commission when the client pays the cash, the downside is it takes at least 6-24 months before you start making good money as you need to stack multi-year agreements to start getting a great W-2. Also, the business routes the best quality and highest quantity of leads to the reps that have the highest close rate/shortest average cycle length (typically ends up being tenured reps). Additionally, since we're such a transactional business with quick cycles and capitalize on emotional buyers, reps coming from different companies have a hard time adjusting as they're typically used to longer, more complex and traditional sales models. As a result, a decent amount of new AEs will leave after 3-9 months because it's hard to turn the corner here. Good AEs in the SMB (commercial) space earn $100-200k, for Mid-Market (Corporate) it's $150-250k, and Enterprise (Strategic) is $200-300k ~ of course with outliers on average getting another $100-$200k on top of those W-2 averages (blowing up their number and hitting accelerators early).
