The glory days of Zendesk are long gone. Zendesk is in this gray area of not having a great fit in SMB or Ent. Too complex for SMB and not complex enough for Ent. Compensation on the lower end of market average. I would wait at least a year before joining the org.

My experience hasn’t been good. Managers micromanage and generally manage by fear.
