It's a market-leading product in one of the most attractive areas of tech - big data. That being said, internal promotion (in particular, from SDR to AE) is much more rare than you're led to believe in onboarding. The field sales org clearly does not trust SDR leadership to develop solid AE candidates and would rather hire someone with 6-12 months of closing experience at an adjacent company. Still, awesome logo to get on the resume.
