Back to ReviewsFormer Employee Podium is a dumpster fire. They lure you in with super high compensation and hire anybody with a pulse. Turnover was insanely high and Podium doesn’t care - people were constantly quitting and getting fired (12 months after I started at Podium, 26 out of 30 people in my hire group weren’t at Podium anymore). Leadership constantly making promises and not keeping them. Quotas went up because AE’s were going to get 1:1 SDRs and start going to trade shoes, but vast majority of us never got an SDR and never went to a single trade show (but still expected to hit the higher quota). The most stressful time of my life was when I worked at Podium (I was working 60-70 hours/week and still barely getting by with my numbers). Way too much VC money in the business and it’s ruined the culture. Leadership is totally out of touch with reality and it takes a miracle to hit quota. I quit and took a $17K cut to my base salary, but I am so much happier (and actually making similar money because I’m performing way better at my new company). It’s a shame because Podium’s product is awesome.
