HubSpot has been an amazing place to work in the sales department historically. We absolutely have the best product in the market, great culture but the huge increase in quota huge increase in headcount has made hitting your OTE rare. The quotas are unattainable for most reps and the VAST majority of managers. Currently 2/29 manager in midmarket are over quota. Zero % are over quota in Canada and about 50% in Small Biz. The company has an amazing product.

More prospecting than necessary for reps. The quota goes up, and the book gets cut every year, making hitting above 75% of the quota very challenging. Job security is fleeting.
