I've heard things have changed but when I was at Grafana I heard a top earner (female) ask for more consideration for diversity on the sales team during her QBR. The VP of sales told her point blank that that wasn't important to Grafana (CEO said something similar in email a few months later) and "the best person gets the role regardless of gender or race." That was what diversity looked like at Grafana. A lot of top earners. I found this place to be stifling with performative behaviors. It wasn't fun to work here. BUT some people made a killing. Lots of reps were closing north of $400k a year. If you can tolerate micro management, high pressure, constant pressure, "pretend to be white" at work every day, being treated purely like a number..... honestly? I don't mean this sarcastically: you'll be fine.

My team is an highlight of the role and Grafana has great solutions. However, path to promotion is difficult and quota attainment isn't sustainable. Moving out of the SDR role is difficult no matter what role you're interested especially if you're not interested in pursuing sales.
