Leadership Matters. If you are stuck with a manager (Not a leader) who decides to micromanage you, life will suck. A leader will let you be an adult, grow, and ultimately become better. Sadly I've experienced both here. Can be the greatest role in the world when you are allowed to flourish, and the worst when you are bogged down by inane tasks with no correlation to the business.

Great development, ran the sales activities that would lead to retention and growth. Was assigned a book with most accounts well below the C-Suite and struggled to build a relationship with the buying group in accounts where it did not exist. Had plenty of pipeline through the year, high velocity, but main objection was price at end of the day.
