It will depend on the business unit you're working with as some are expected to grow over 10% and they get marketing dollars and a decent amount of inbound leads while the older product lines rely more on existing customer expansion and referrals. Fortra is normally pretty competitive with the OTE but the base is a little lower than average from what I've seen. The benefits are great though, it's fully remote and you get equity units that are like an unplanned bonus every few years when we get new investors.

My overall experience as for others did not go well. Went through the company being bought out and changing the whole brand which led to a lot of miscommunication. Product was getting outdated by competitors. Did not pay employees well.

Nothing special, just an average sales engineering role. Good products, but the leadership and their decisions/prioritizations were a bit off a lot of the time though.
