Fastly was an amazing place to work. New leadership especially in the sales organization has torn apart just about any hope of ever making money, making matters worse -- I'm not sure that there is a single sales rep at Fastly that benefits from these changes. They are lowering base pay for new reps, the product is incredibly technical and requires long times to ramp. CEO to SVP of sales are all from Cisco and think the place is ready to be Cisco, its not. The product has a long way to go before they can do that.

Decent Inbound lead flow (territory dependent). Good base salary. Sales compensation this year has been overcorrected.

My experience has been positive with Fastly - leadership has improved since I've been here and pay is good. The sales culture is very positive and my manager is awesome. Issues mostly come from selling into the CDN and WAF space which is very competitive.
