Upper management doesn’t really care and it takes no real skill to do the job. A lot of companies use Dell but less in SMB and it’s all luck of the draw based on accounts you’re given. No real control.

My overall experience was good. Great peers and IC's. Upper management was still a good ol boys club for the most part.

I like working at Dell because they have consistently competitive products, a great culture and leadership, and typically don't just sell one point product so I can go deep and wide into the Enterprise. What blows is there is zero equity. No stock grants or options. Not even an employee stock purchase plan.

No lead generation at all. SDRs were poor and poorly trained. Product fit in theory was excellent but seen as the dinosaur in their market largely
