Current Employee A great place for early career b2b sales professionals to develop their skill set, network, and long term career goals. While it’s 80-90% outbound opportunity generation, which is definitely difficult in today’s market, if you are a true outbound rep who knows how to work with your leadership team and peers to overcome obstacles then you absolutely have a shot of making a lot of money and having a long term career at Datadog. Many reps who have been at the company for a long time have started in entry level roles and have been promoted appropriately based on their performance. While leadership’s involvement and training is a huge part of a rep’s ability to get a quick successful start, the product-market fit and continuous investments into R&D give any rep a wide range of opportunities to successfully build their book of business in the SaaS industry.
