Former Employee2.7Aug 22, 2024Great product, bad company to be a rep at. Need to fix internal issues with sales ops, lead routing and giving people fair equal territories. Very much few people get lucky and do well and everyone else struggles.

Current Employee2.7Mar 5, 2024Good place to start your sales career, definitely a grind in the commercial space however a lot of good people here and it's an extremely strong product. Very technical, so there's definitely a learning curve but if you can get the platform in front of people it will sell itself a lot of the time. Barely any inbound lead flow.

Current Employee3.4Feb 15, 2024Datadog is a great product, but there are definitely some downsides to working here. Entering this role without previous market knowledge is an easy way to fall behind the curve early on. Extremely saturated market with Datadog pricing themselves out of most commercial sized deals. Extremely cutthroat culture and you will get laid off quickly with poor performance.
