My overall experience was that there were a lot of great people to work with at Citrix but the company did too much to shoot itself in the foot when it came to market penetration. Started out very good. Then went downhill. Leadership is a joke. Reselling licenses to current customers as new, unrealistic quotas, constant layoffs, spineless managers only looking out for themselves. very toxic

I worked for ShareFile as it was acquired by Citrix. It naturally became a different company once the acquisition was completed. It was a blast and it opened many doors for my career.

Citrix was a great company to sell for. Great market fit but the virtualization market is shrinking and PE takeover certainly change the company.

Excellent solution and dominating the VDI and app virtualization market for many years. Leadership has changed and it is now more a legacy solution. Covid did help the company with new revenue streams.
