Back to ReviewsCurrent Employee 1. Horrible personal experience - micromanagement, threatened with a PIP from month 2 and then placed on a PIP in month 5 (ramp is 9 months).
2. Unnecessary obsession with being at the office at 9am sharp 3x a week, and was not standardised across the sales org. If I wanted to work remotely somewhere for more than 2 days we'd have to go through HR.
3. Over-hired for the market I was in and lack of autonomy over our territories with accounts assigned to us, plus we're not allowed to search for accounts on our own. My SDR literally laughed at my accounts and refused to work with me because they were so bad.
4. Even the top performers in EMEA don't hit quota because the quotas are set to an American standard across the world. The EMEA leadership has even created lower "must make minimum" targets because the actual targets are so unachievable. Don't join commercial sales at Datadog in EMEA if you're looking to make money.
