overall Zuora was a good place while the company was growing. Now I would not recommend as new business deals are extremely difficult to find and close.

I've got some great people that I get to work with. Things change rapidly and seems like we are always trying to figure it out and how to GTM. Overall its good, just a very challenging cycle to run.

Goals were unrealistic. For a meeting to count the AE needed a budget and close date within 90 days if they didn’t get that I wouldn’t be paid

Value selling and earning potential are high value, however there is a real possibility you don’t make any commission. The billing business is just rough there are so many competitors now and we are really having it out with billingplatform, especially in consumption base companies. My overall experience was bad. Sales Managers are not helpful, weeks are full of useless meetings to tell and retell same infos about your deals, market fit is non existent outside tech

This is a great sales organization with a lot of potential. The focus is more on large strat accounts, so lead flow does not apply much. Sales leadership is terrific.

There's a reorg every year based on the story the organization wants to tell the board. The market is becoming oversaturated with billing companies, so it's becoming more difficult to differentiate.
