Constant leadership changes with 0 continuity leading to a severe lack of understanding of the sales process, competitive market etc. Every new leader that steps in wants to reset everything and is hurting our ability to sell.

Great product market fit for Nonprofits, Healthcare, Hospitality. All three verticals are doing incredible. Inbound lead flow is pretty consistent. Teams are vertically based with no assigned accounts. Still the Wild West picking accounts to target. Growing pains as Sage acquired Intacct and is incorporating them into their ecosystem, but who doesn’t have issues.

Overall a better than average place to work. Biggest complaint is the lack of alignment between NA Sales leadership and Sales leadership in the UK where Sage Global is headquartered.

Leadership is top of the list of reasons to run from this place. Toxic, manipulative, controlling. Insecure management at its finest. There’s way too much organizational changes in the sales org. In 1 year, I’ve had 6 different managers different styles, moving into different teams. Is ok. The management for Canada is from sales force and doesn’t know how to sell financial management software. Inbound flow is minimal and you are in decelerators until you hit quota which means you don’t make much money.

The product is a true accounting system that has kept up to date with the various standards coming down from the AICPA. It doesn't try and be everything all at once, but if the organization needs strictly accounting, it's a great fit for most organizations.

Sage is a great company to work for. Since they merged Intacct, it has brought on a lot of red tape, but that comes with all large Publicly Traded Companies. However, they recently implemented a commission cap of 160%.
