A lot has changed since going private. Improvements to product offering via acquisitions which is a positive. However, its has become much harder to make good commission as leadership has introduced was to penalise AEs for selling anything but a 36 month contract with zero discounting applied, if your deal is any different to this you will be hit -BCR rates.

Zendesk used to be a great company, but ever since the acquisition by Private Equity, the culture and vision have gone down the drain. The pay is below market rate, and a large number of AEs fail to achieve (or come close to) quota. Leadership is not transparent and (micro)manages by fear.
