Very difficult to find success but when you do there’s no better environment. Engineering drives the show for sure, but it’s known the correlation of sales expansion and s&p inclusion

Have so much belief in this company. Hope to be here a long time. Sales is still finding its place internally at Palantir. The general sentiment is “win on outcomes with engineering, not sales.” Hope to see that change to just “win on outcomes.”

Horrific culture bordering on criminal conduct in many cases. The worse sales leadership you will find at any publicly traded company, or any company for that matter. They treat all reps like BDRs, will only train you on how to generate new opportunities. They doubled quota and cut commission in half to help pump the stock. The technology and engineers that implement it are amazing. Some of the most fun work you may ever get to do. Problem lies with a few middle management 'leadership' that rule with an iron fist and you never actually talk to. A wasted opportunity to create an amazingly close team. Everyone is scared.

Good company if you're extremely autonomous. Freedom to sell to whomever you want without any managers breathing down your neck. Very exciting space to be in but prepare yourself for long sales cycles and ever-changing (but rarely communicated) initiatives. Despite how that all sounds, still a good place to work where longevity will be rewarded.

Don't ever work in sales for Palantir. They don't ever pay a rep according to the plan, and sometimes they arbitrarily refuse to pay at all. They hate sales people and treat all of them like crap.

By far the worst sales culture imaginable. Salespeople are not respected. The majority of customer spend occurs after year one. Sales commission drops to 1% after year one. A true nightmare, sales org is run like a corrupt 3rd world Gov. Stolen commissions, dozens fired before 6 months, silence any dissenters, no account assignments or GTM strategy, extremely toxic culture, Comp slashed more than half after joining. They pillage your rolodex then fire at will.

The absolute worst experience in my career. The sales leaders have zero sales background and dislike salespeople as much as the CEO does. Terrible - the comp plan is a lie. Management has set up the structure so that they can stiff you on commissions at will, and they do it to every seller. You will be MISERABLE here.

My experience at Palantir has been that if you work for the best outcomes or the organization, the organization will work for you. It takes a long time to build trust in both directions though, which means that a lot of people don’t stay long and come away with a negative impression with how extractionist both parties were.

Sales leaders have 0 sales experience and have created the WORST sales culture on the planet. NO ONE will speak up because THEY WILL FIRE YOU.
