Since being acquired by Private Equity and taken private, Zendesk has lost its people-first culture.
It is now only about money.
4 rounds of layoffs in 9 months, price hikes, high employee and customer churn, and a leadership team that thinks they are royalty.
The BDR org is the wild wild west. No direction. No standardization. No philosophy. Just get it done...we don't care how you hit your number. Except only 20% of BDRs hit their number.
And they are slowly moving all BDR/SDR roles to "low cost geos" like Mexico City and Poland.
