Still undergoing a transition post-acquisition. Lot's of change and sometimes limited enablement resources. The ones who succeed the most are those who are agile, flexible, and position themselves strategically.

The old Zendesk (pre-2022) is much different than the Zendesk of today. Since being acquired by Private Equity and taken private, Zendesk has lost its people-first culture. It is now only about money. 4 rounds of layoffs in 9 months, price hikes, high employee and customer churn, and a leadership team that thinks they are royalty. The BDR org is the wild...Read More

My overall experience was that AE's were expected to carry the ball all the time and generate 100% of their own pipeline. Management was not well threaded into the market, and there was very little inbound from BDR/SDR.
