UPS has never been and never will be a top sales company. It is mainly an engineering company with sales jobs are combined with customer service. Variable comp is largely uncontrollable due to YoY component on existing book of business. This is not a pure sales role, and the base is not high enough to be structured as a retention or customer success position. It is challenging to earn a consistent living here
