My overall experience of this role was good because when I was employed there it was very hands off and if you hit your quota they left you alone which was nice. They did some layoffs that were not handled professionally at all and blindsided even the top performers.

A horrendous new hire wave of middle managers - zero accountability, zero training, low effort + will not defend their reps at crunch time. Politics have skyrocketed - performance comes second to favoritism regarding getting PIPed, as the Oracle 2.0 environment has run it's course by now.

My overall experience was pretty solid at Smartsheet. My team was great but higher level leadership kept saying one thing than doing another. People who made presidents club were looked down upon for having a bad quarter. Lots of competitors that Smartsheet has to deal with and they are certainly not a cheap product.
