With a low base salary - how achievable is earning commissions (I.e. surpassing base salary in commissions) and how does the OTE stack up to what is proposed as a 50/50 package?

More QuestionsWhy is the base comp/salary at SmartBear so low? Is management doing anything to address that and get it to at least average market comp levels? Or is it viewed as a feature not a bug of the comp package? Are the sales targets at SmartBear Software realistic and achievable? Have these targets been adjusted upward or downward in the last few quarters?
