The Mid-Market segment scaled waaaay too quickly. They went from 8 to 30 reps last Q4/Q1 and it's been chaos for them trying to figure out segmentation and quota. We just had our second quarter in a row were not even 20% of the segment hit quota. To make it even worse, nearly everyone was put on performance plans. The people are cool, the product is great, the future is bright for Shopify. But man do they have some work to do in the sales org. It's the wild west out here.

It is such a thrill to work at Shopify. The company has a great culture and I love to work with all of the great CPG companies. Being able to attend the conferences is actually great, they are very fun!
