my overall experience was difficult, Shopify is a bad remote company. They didn't do enough to make us feel valued or to connect us. I felt really isolated and like it was all work, there was no effort to create company culture despite being remote.

Great place to work. Quotas are insane and books are luck of the draw. Some reps are making over a million where as some are struggling to hit quota, and it really depends on territory or vertical

Avoid. You're going to be excited about it at first.. but you won't be for long after joining. The company itself seems very cool, but it's engineering focused and sales is second class. No alignment between product and rev, processes/ROE/targets change every quarter, new products are underdeveloped and no resources given to help enable sales, compensation is wildly...Read More
