Which to them, justified canning really great talent if they got a bad patch. I saw dozens of really talented sellers get booted, while peers walked into deals that were already 90% baked, and got promoted for closing massive deals they had nothing to do with… they insist on manufacturing revenue by increasing licensing costs by 9% every renewal. The biggest disappointment is that the company’s motto is to put the customer first- yet sales leaders coach: “burn the boats” - who cares if they get upset, they will get a different rep next year.
