I was at Planview 10+ years. My manager was probably the best I had throughout my sales career. He provided good company visibility and I visa-versa. He ensured I had the support needed to pursue qualified opportunities, the company stood behind. Over time, I established my own relationships and support, through success. Compensation could have been stronger. CEO retired, C-Suite soon followed, as I did. All one can as for is opportunity defined as, a fair manager, decent territory & compensation, a product / market fit, working with good people and minimal politics. Generally, that was Planview.

Executive Management seems to be out of touch with reality in the market. Acquisitions have changed the culture not for the good. There are a lot of talented people throughout the organization and they are trying to compensate for the lack of personality at the C-level. It was a pressure cooker where everyday was 'the most important day in the most important quarter in company history' and that gets tiring after several years. You aren't allowed to question decisions and feedback isn't sought from leadership.
