Don't get me wrong, this is a great company to work for. It's just not for everyone. You work with local insurance brokers, financial advisors, and HR consultants and attempt to tap into their book of business. In the highly competitive HCM space, this is tough and essentially the only way you can perform well here. You'll be undercut by cheaper competitors with a larger presence in the industry and will have to work long hours to get close to your quota. Contrary to what I was told in the interview process, you will not receive any sort of quality leads at any point that are inbound or from an ADR. Paylocity does however have a standout product in the space. It's miles ahead of a lot of other competitors, but the customer service and pricing really make it difficult to sell here.

The work life balance is great! Paylocity truly cares about their employees. I came directly from a competitor and I can confidently say that the product, service, price point, and leaders are the best in the market.

This role is underpaid at this company and leadership is not helpful. All the directors are stepping down because they would prefer to be individual contributors.
