How challenging is it to sell against competitors in the sales role at Outreach.io?

Run away from outreach as fast as you possibly can. Toxic leadership that is almost worse with the.m guard from Microsoft.

Words cannot express how much you need to avoid Outreach. Heavily commodified space and, quite frankly, it’s a boring sale.

No complexity, weak ROI, and you don’t really get the exposure necessary to expand on your sales career.

Word's out on the customer satisfaction issues with Outreach customers. Competitors regularly use that to sell against us and win.

Sales Engagement is highly commoditized and Outreach struggles to differentiate at this point. Their CI and forecasting products are buggy. It’s a tough go for them at the moment.

Hard because Outreach’s gone down the full platform play and still only master sales engagement

In a head 2 head on sales engagement,  Outreach wins on paper but loses on UI, price and simplicity to Salesloft.

SC/SE at Outreach for the last quite a few years.

You'll win some, you'll loose some.  Platform consolidation with a competitor will steal some of you Book and you'll rip upsells from your competitors with the consolidation play too.

Selling to someone who is using a competitor is very different to one who never has.

Who you'll compete most against depends on the Segment and the customer challenge.
Lower end : Apollo feels like one to watch. Mid Market: Gong's Brand is Strong and leads the CI space. Enterprise: status quo, getting them to make something happen is your competition.Forecasting: Clari has the ear of the C-Suite. Salesloft are still around too.

I can't speak as well to the pricing and packaging an deal construction piece that's also important.
