With 400+ employee reviews admitting to a 27% quota attainment... Is this the reality?  Can someone please either confirm or deny and provide some context here?

Run away and do not look back, 27% is not accurate it is lower than that.  Just because the tech is cool does not make this a good place to sell.  You will be micromanaged and then PIP'd before you know the sales motion.

It’s less. Outreach has the most talented AE’s on the market but now failed due to:
Sacking most sales leaders and BDR’s and running too lean
Rev Ops and new Microsoft leadership making decisions using crap metrics and not understanding what sales reps used to do to achieve quota.

Seems a little high for me!

In my experience 1 in 5 reps or fewer hit target.

Rev ops is a nightmare, books of business are imbalanced and the SDR function has collapsed due to the layoffs.

It’s impossible for a rep to be a full time SDR and closer and hit attainment, and inbound leads are rare

At the point I quit, only one or 2 people in my national segment hit their number. Company wildly overpromised on revenue in 2023 and used inflated quotas to claw some money back to help with profitability issues.

I would be surprised if 10% hit quota by end of fiscal.

Absolutely confirmed, if not even lower- a significant number of leaders being released,  the enablement team is no longer in existence.

Yes it’s the reality - in teams of 4-6, maybe one or two hit target.

It’s all over the place because most BDR’s have been let go, marketing has been ripped out and it’s mostly self-gen now for AE’s

Spent 2 years at Outreach, before leaving because most were not hitting quota.  Can confirm the below answer.  "Just depends on the team.  Some doing well.  Most are not."  If interviewing here, I'd ask each hiring manager about what % of reps on that team hit quota. (NOT the average attainment on the team.)

It’s 2024 and this is sadly still accurate.

There are entire teams, such as Solutions Consulting, in which no member of the team has hit OTE in over a year (OTE tied directly to Segment and Org quota).  You’re lucky to get a third of your variable, if that.
