MathWorks is an Engineer Software Company first with a sales department. They have good benefits and culture but compensation is limited. Great work life balance.

Great company, great product, great people here. Very welcoming and not a toxic work environment. Downside is that CEO/founder doesn't believe in sales. Sales OTE below market and team is understaffed with the amount of accounts you cover in a territory. Little room to move up unless you want to move out to satellite office.
