IBM
Back to ReviewsCurrent Employee IBM is a toxic late-stage company devoid of any opportunity. The average age of the IBMer is 50+. The IBM culture is designed so that you are highly discouraged to form relationships with your coworkers. You will have a new manager ever 6 months or less. They will lie to you consistently and gaslight you into thinking that the organization's problems are actually your problems (they're not). This company has nothing to do with the IBM of past and instead is a massive grift based on the brand identity established over years of trust (which is now gone in the eyes of customers). You will be not selling products that built in-house, but instead they will be products acquired from third parties, and "bluewashed." That means the juice will have already been squeezed from these products pre-acquisition. Your job will be to squeeze the last few drops. Sales cycles last over 12 months, but you will be expected to deliver results in under 6. Nobody will help you achieve those results. Extremely complex matrix management structure full of "sales leadership" and it is not entirely clear what they do. Do yourself and your family a favor and avoid working here. Browse Other Reviews
