Reps openly cheat and scheme the system. Management has quoted “we are going to once again promote front running” because they couldn’t figure out how to stop reps from cheating. The Hubspot build that Hubspot itself uses, is broken and allows reps to steal and front run hot inbound leads ready to buy. This breaks down to reps stealing leads that would otherwise be rotated fairly and distributed evenly. If you’ve figured out how to cheat you will succeed, if you’re not part of the in crowd, you will fail. Over hiring has been a problem for years. not enough high fit companies in America to go around for everyone.

When I first started HubSpot it was such an amazing place to work. Over time, the market has gone down and it's really showed the good times were actually good times because the market was so good. Today, only a low percentage of reps are hitting their massive quotas and there is massive micromanaging going on. The leaders are really just old reps from many years...Read More

Amazing product, base and comms. Culture is highly dependent on team placement and it is very rare you will meet your manager or team ahead of starting.
