You need to hunt or be hunted. You need to walk, talk and worship all things force management, and be on the career tree of the CRO and other leaders. Lots of good momentum at Harness recently with the platform in the leaders quadrant and larger multi-product deals. The TAM is very large and the product is differentiated. Its definitely not an easy place to work but it's a rocked ship.

Sales leadership don't understand the market. Cookie cutter legacy playbook approach that does more harm than good. Landing new logos is borderline impossible as a result and nobody is hitting quota

GTM wants to be enterprise but the sales process doesn’t reflect as much. Heavy on activity metrics, shamed on weekly calls if you don’t hit your meetings number. Haven't found repeatable selling motion, but running sales org like volume and velocity are all that matter. Not a lot of sellers having success.

Late to market, mess of a GTM, unrealistic expectations and long sale cycles. Leadership is a mess and constant gaslighting. Hope things change for the better or they’ll have to continue buying companies to gain revenue and marketshare.

Best product in the market by a landslide. Nothing comes close. Somehow zero inbounds. More targeted for Enterprise companies. Long sales cycles at the top. If you don't generate meeting yourself you will get fired.

Harness is a very complex place to sell, & sales is well supported at the company. However, there are still massive inequalities in patch/region and advancement opportunities have slowed. Inbound lead flow is near 0 for most people. so you have to self source outbound everything if you dont get a good patch/install. SDR org is in turmoil as well

Good product. Sales and customer success overwhelmed with too many products to manage and learn. Sales leadership is old school. Focused on growth and nothing else. One of the worst sales environments I have ever experienced.
