Back to ReviewsCurrent Employee Grafana is largely overrated. Don't trust glassdoor reviews (mostly non sales) and repvue ones (largely outdated).
Value prop: cheaper than everybody else / low differentiation with open source. Basically, you are selling open source support.
Market-fit: organic growth is stalling. Product is average and not differentiated enough. Space is very crowded.
Leadership: GTM team is very inexperienced. VP of sales has a big ego wrapped up in fake vulnerability. Cult-like culture where every leader repeats the same BS.
Compensation: below market. Comp plan is good if you can close something large (big IF).
Geos: At least for the US, avoid East/Central. West is a decent/performing team but not perfect either.
Sales Culture: as someone pointed out elsewhere, expect micro-management by very average sales leaders (=busywork). Top performers usually have very good accounts (e.g. cloud native, financial institutions). Morale is low across the org.
