Gartner is the ultimate you get what you get situation. Managers and VP’s will determine your fate. If you have a good one and a solid book, you can thrive. If you are like me, and so many others that joined, you are limited or even held back from the beginning with a terrible book of business and leadership that doesn’t care. They just needed to fill a seat. Knowing full well the book was in shambles. They over hired during Covid and are actively pushing people out and forcing units back into the regional offices or forcing those who left to other areas to come back or leave the company.
