Overall experience is good. Pro's: Lots of help when you need it. Attractive earnings. Growth potential. Con's: Leadership politics will literally lose sales, and it will still be the rep's fault. Layoffs every 6 months. Lots of favoritism, "Boys club" without the gender aspect of the term. Leadership is very disconnected from what's actually happening at the company.

I hated Dell so bad. I was a sales support person, but I had sales KPIs because of how the position is utilized in other verticals. I did my job and blew quota out of the water, but I didn’t know how to pretend to be a seller. I stayed for 5 years for money and Dell takes great care of employees in a lot of ways.

Strategy, vision, and company culture is great . Dell has an exciting future however industry wide challenges have triggered a need for change, which is presenting some complexities with development and performance.
